Greetings, Comrades. I wanted to take a moment to do two things here.
Firstly, I wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to this game, but I am a veteran of PC games (Wolfenstein 3d when it was brand new, plus the majority of PC games released since then, literally). I have Steam, Origin, and lots of other similar programs that I'll never remember my user name for. I also have Ventrilo and Teamspeak 3. My first clan was "Sick Bastards [SB]" from 1998-2000 for Quake and Quake 2. Since then, I've been in too many clans to name, for too many games to name. I've also held high-ranking official positions in several prestigious clans for Counter Strike, the Battlefield games, and APB (From closed beta to first release and eventual failure). I have also spent a great deal of time playing MMOs, including but not limited to EVE. In fact, I just left EVE because my well-fitted L2 Machariel ($100 worth of ship with fittings) was ganked by pirates in low-sec. I might go back some day when these scars have healed. We'll see. I've always loved space games, (ever since MS Space Simulator) so I have to be actively playing at least one at any given time. I recently picked EM from a long list of potential Eve replacements for too many reasons to list here. After playing it for a few hours, it's seemingly everything I need it to be, and then some. Needless to say, I intend to be here for a while.
Secondly, I would like to apply to join the Freedom Fighters. After careful examination of all the clan threads on this forum, I've come to the conclusion that I belong best in [FF]. All of your ideals and parameters are completely congruent with mine, whereas most other clans' are not. (This decision was based entirely on my personal philosphical outlook [Dialectical Materialism/Revolutionary Collectivism/Marx-Lenin-Trotskyism]. For those of you that aren't familiar with these concepts, I'm sorry. For those of you that ARE familiar, I'm also sorry.
I've spent a large portion of my life in- and out-of-college reading works by the great philosophers and political scientists as well as many of the less-respected ones.) To any extent, I would very much like to be a part of [FF] and feel that I can contribute a great deal to the success and integrity of this fine group of space-farers. To verify my knowledge of your parameters, I have copied-and-pasted them all here. I have digitally signed my name at the bottom as a preemptive contractual agreement on my behalf to adhere to said parameters.

Clan Rules(Law):
#1: Respect all other pilots. [FF] members are asked to assist new pilots if possible and defend the innocent.
#2: Respect the server rules of any server you fly in. (Know the server rules)
#3: Obey clan guidelines and the established chain of command.
#4: Have Fun! (As long as rule #4 does not contradict rules #1, #2, and #3.)
Clan Guidelines:
#1: Do not run contracts in quadrants other than our own established [FF] quadrants, unless specifically noted otherwise (Depending upon the server, warzones may be an acceptable place to run contracts, despite their perceived sovereignty. Always check for permission first, before attempting to complete contracts in a warzone). Completing contracts in opposing clan territory will be received as an act of war by other clans.
#2: Do not build [FF] clan tagged stations in any quadrants that are not established [FF] quadrants. Building clan tagged stations in opposing clan quadrants is considered an act of war.
#3: Only Splosives and HawkEye are currently commissioned to expand [FF] into new quadrants.
#4: If an opposing clan member is confirmed to be completing contracts in a [FF] quadrant, warn them to exit the [FF] quadrant immediately. If an opposing clan member does not heed the [FF] pilots warning, that [FF] pilot is cleared to engage the threat with deadly force, if the [FF] pilot is able. All [FF] pilots are asked to rally and defend our territory if necessary. All infractions on [FF] airspace must be reported to a [FF] commander.
#5: If an opposing clan member is confirmed to be detonating any [FF] station, all [FF] pilots are asked to rally and defend our station or quadrant. Detonating [FF] clan tagged stations is considered and act of hostility. Report all station detonations to a [FF] commander.
#6: If an opposing clan member is confirmed to be building any clan tagged station in any of our established quadrants, all [FF] pilots are asked to rally and defend our quadrant. Building clan tagged stations in any [FF] quadrant will be considered an act of hostility, and these stations will be removed without warning. Report all station construction in [FF] quadrants to a [FF] commander.
#7: Do not detonate any neutral station, even if the owner is a less than favorable pilot. Do not engage neutral pilots without warning. Neutral stations and neutral pilots are considered innocent and must not be harmed. Neutral pilots may be engaged if they are perceived as a threat to [FF] pilots, [FF] stations, [FF] quadrants, our allies, or in defense of the innocent.

Your gaming history reads alot like mine except i didnt get my start on PC's until 1995, when my family bought a Gateway 2000. I got my start with Jane's Combat Simulators, and I have played many games since then. Evochron Mercenary is one of the best.

For now we will allow you to build your station, but should we ever decide to max out stations there, we will have to remove yours.
Also if your station has no name, we will remove it automatically, so name your station if you want to keep it.

It's been a while....due to hard work, a problem with my knee and working in the hangar with ljon (for the perch cockpit) i had my spaceship locked but now i am back in business!!!!

We are currently at war with the Vonari( [V] clan tagged pilots). Engage their pilots at will when you are able to do so.
Do not destroy [V] Vonari stations or bring down their percentages without authorization from Command.
This limited war shall last untill [V] surrenders or noted otherwise by [FF] Command.

New FF Recruit
On behalf of the Freedom Fighters, I, HawkEye, do hereby declare war on the following Factions in the Evochron Universe.
*Star Wolves Clan [SW]
the Star Wolves:
*When FF was still in its infancy, a station detonation was reported to me by an FF Officer. A [SW] pilot detonated a [FF] Station in the Deneb Quadrant, whch was at the time and still is a [FF] Quadrant, on the Evochron Horizons server (Hidden Planet in Deneb). [SW] built their own station there. After reading the [FF] officers report, I flew to the location and indeed our [FF] station had been destroyed and replaced by a [SW] station. I asked a [SW] member , in game, why they did it. The pilot replied with a "Smiley Face" and a laugh. Ok...
*Recently I logged onto the Evochron Horizons server as [FF] HawkEye. After I arrived I noticed that [SW] Busch was detonating stations in the Arvoch WarZone. I wondered if he was detonating [FF] stations; since we had about 25 built there, I had to ask Busch what he was doing. He replied, "Oh just clearing out the WarZone of stations." I asked for him to please further explain; why he was detonating [FF] stations and elaborate. He explained that our two clans [FF] and [SW] had an agreement/pact/something in the WarZone, and so he was simply honoring the agreement. By the time I had arrived in the WarZone to have a look, only 3 or so [FF] stations remained. I told him UNDERSTOOD, for which he replied with "LMAO".
I still do not know of what agreement he was talking about, yet out of respect for the Star Wolves, FF did not immediatley take action. Further intellignece was required before taking an action.
After deliberations within [FF] we have found that NO SUCH agreement was EVER made. [SW] did not offer an explanation, warning, or notice before OR after detonating numerous [FF] stations in the Arvoch WarZone. No [FF] members were online to defend them.
The Star Wolves [SW] are asked to surrender the Quadrant of Pearl to the Freedom Fighters on the Evochron Horizons Server.
If no surrender; the Freedom Fighters will lay siege to the Quadrant of Pearl and take the quadrant through force.
More advances may be made into [SW] Territory if no Surrender or Ceasefire is offered by [SW] clan.
Rules of engagment:
The Freedom Fighters will honor these rules of engagment:
*[FF] will only wage war with the Star Wolves when they are online. This includes lowering [SW] percentages and detonating [SW] stations.
To our Dear Allies:
FF understands that LL and HB are friends of both FF and SW. If FF allies wish to remain neutral during this conflict, the Freedom Fighters will honor their decision.
High Command does not believe support from our allies will be neccessary, but much appreciated if offered.
*The server rules of Evochron Horizons clearly state that:
7. We are now using the Offline no take rule. If no members of a clan are online you are not allowed to take control of one of it's systems. All clan wars should be scheduled when at least one person from each clan can be online.
7.1 You may not destroy stations in any system if the owners of that system are not online to defend them. Where is the sport in that? It does not at all fit in with the spirit of the game.
7.2 Declarations of war between clans may be made. The defending clan must have at least 24 hours to respond, after that time however the attacking clan may attack a clans systems freely. Please read the reply below for an example declaration format.

It has not been 24. I have not even been online once since this was mentioned.
If FF has pearl, then Pearl was given away not taken from us.
Or if "Taken" then by breaking rule 7.2
I am sure we would have come to an agreement without war anyway
but we would have liked to have had some more time to speak with our fellow SW members about it.

These are the rules that I will abide by for the time being:
1. No destruction of stations without an [FF] clan tagged pilot online.
2. No destruction of percentage without an [FF] clan tagged pilot online.
3. No insults.
Leader of attacking clans name: No clan - just me, myself, and I with a dangerous tag.
Why is not required, but I figured I'd post why anyway...
You guys want to have a war and keep saying that one pilot such as me cannot hurt you in a fair fight... well... I'm going to show ya'll once again exactly how much damage one pilot can do. Besides... it provides me with a outlet for my anger and you did ask for it.
