Yes, S-K, I'm on. Although a bit less frequently of late. Some server issues, some health issues, some family stuff; you know the drill. ;)

Generally aflight upon the Evo-Horizons platform - most times it's up.:cool:

Yeah I log into the Horizones server mostly, though not as often as in the past.

I try to get in at least ever few days to help up SW % in our territories.
I don't often See Busch or anybody at all during the times I join Horizones server
Around 2 to 4 pm my time zone which is (+8)
-
I do very much miss Remula 1 and MM.
I knew he would always be there around the time I play.
You know, that 3 am time he would often stop in for a quick chat when he got up in the middle of the night. .

Things just have never been the same since R1 dropped off the server list.
But ya know its not just the server we miss :(

Yes Miaz I couldn't agree more. I lost count the number of times my lone game would be pulled up with a friendly. "Off saving the universe by yourself again BLEVE."

He always stopped for a chat, even when his back teeth were floating. LOL. I really miss MM and those deep discussions that followed that greeting.

If anyone has news of MM, regardless if its good or bad, could they please U2U me. Confidentiality is of course guaranteed.

I never go on Horizons most of my time is spent on Galatica 1 or Cronics Lair (private server with limited player space but the best ping in Evochron). I miss you guys and MM.
Remula 1 was the one true old timer hang out (no rules server). I would always see Miaz, Busch, Bleve and talk to Mike. I just hope he is OK!
Galatica 1 has Flash, Captain Cronic, King Arthur, Rubber Chicken, Cindy, SeT, Hawkeye and other great characters always itching for some fun PvP. If you put the ]x[ tag on you can be attacked which means you attack after being attacked so its fun without people getting mad.

Flesh wears pasties now on his lazy boy. Although I have never seen them. Rumor has it that Rubber Chicken and Captain Cronic have actual pictures! Again its just a rumor but thats the crazy world of the Flasher.

On a more serious note with all the brain power we have in the world of Evochron you would think that one of us could find out the status of MM.
As you can see he was a special person to us all. I can not imagine him not trying to contact us in some way.

Probably require on-site, eyes-on sorta sumptin', I'm thinken, S-K. LKA for MM, that I know of, was in Fla.USA. Don't know of anything else, nor do I know of any way more than we've got that respects his privacy foremost. He just dang well might surprise us after all! (I'm so hopeing!) ;)

What is strange that we have had no word by phone, email or EM forum on MM's status.
I have tried all three avenues of communication and nothing.

Time is a strange thing - it passes at different rates for different people and in different circumstances.

I found that much time slipped by without me being particularly aware of it when I was ill and awaiting treatment and results therefrom - perhaps MM's priorities at this time are focussed more on his family and getting back to full fitness

Though not superstitious, my fingers and toes remain firmly crossed. :)

Ya, S-K and Dave. My primary source has as yet to receive "that phone call", re: MM. As I trust this particular info provider more than most, I'm somewhat comforted by the fact that I've not received "the word" yet either. And yeah, MM may very well be focusing on his health and recovery, and may still be resting his laurels in hospital. He may yet surprise us all with a miraclous appearance. (So hopeing for that) From what I've picked up, MM doesn't have much in the way of family near him. An ex-wife or two, and is estranged from his son. Other family members I know nothing of. I do know that he does have some friends and/or acquaintenances that live near him who've lent him a hand from time-to-time. Those, I've heard MM speak of in a round-about manner. And that's the sum total, pretty much, of what info I've got, except for some annecdotal stuff that has no real bearing. As with the other OEA members, I too am awaiting the other shoe droppage. ;)

I hope your right! Vice is the brains and MM was the heart of this game.
A good person! Thanks for putting a positive spin on it Mr. Busch.

Ya, God willing and the creek don't rise! ;)
Though I've not met him face-to-face, I consider myself fortunate to have made MM's acquaintenance. I do consider him a dear friend, in spite of this venue. And, I'm chewing neutronium in worry and concern for him. It's been six months since he entered the VA hospital at his locale. He's got more than honorable mention in my assaults on the barricades of heaven. Will continue to be so, 'til someone shuts the door and turns out the lights. :)

Like you I never had a face to face meeting with our dear friend Mike but years of nightly talks while playing Legends and then EM brought us to friendship. I just hope he recovers!
Your a good man Mr. Busch!
