Ribs, and physical maladies associated with the upper torso are dicey at best. Best rest, appropariate strappage, medication, and not stressing that area is the best therapy/treatement that I know of. And as the Shieldster says, your G-Pa will get better over time. Humor helps at times. Understanding, and laughing at the irony; it's what makes us human.

My poor grandfather kept trying to laugh yesterday. Hey, don't look at me. It wasn't my fault... well... you see... I just wanted to see him smile on the times that it could have been a little bit my fault. Besides, he was trying to get himself laughing too... sharing jokes with us makes him laugh. After laughing though... he didn't think it was so funny.

I wish that I could take the pain I feel around him... even with the painkillers it still hurts so much.

they are pretty cheap but getting them installed can be expensive! Do not tell your Grand father tough or he will need more spares from laughing to much!.....

My grandfather is back in the hospital. He has pneumonia. He has been in the hospital since Friday (the 13th of April). Please keep praying for him.

I've been using MP and wabbit hunting to forget about it, so thanks to all who have helped me with that.

Oh great! Your grandfather is back in the hospital again. Pheumonia is very dangerous. I feel really sorry for you. I'll keep praying for your grandfather.

Thank you all so much for the prayers. My entire family appreciates them. My grandfather is back out of the hospital and home as of now... we're praying it stays that way.
