Did you do any uphill skiing or did you just stick to downhill? What kind of weapon did you use to clear your path? I generally stick to ballistic weapons as energy weapons can be unreliable in the cold. I just wing the children, I'm not heartless.

I remember the first time I went skiing we started with instructions on the bunny hill, a slope so tame it's essentially flat. The jump to "beginner" is quite a leap. I took out a little girl on my first trip down.

My ex-girlfriend convinced me to try the intermediate hill after lunch, but I hadn't property re-attached my skis. I ended up getting tangled in the safety net. When I finally got free I couldn't stop or steer at the bottom of the hill and crashed into people waiting in line for the lift. I'm lucky I didn't break my ankles. I found out after that my boots weren't property attached, but I was done with skiing. Into the hot tub for me.

Hope you had fun, now go shoot something in space. Pew pew pew!

ROFLMAO!

I normally run the steep, black slopes (hard) and I use my old full leangth skiis, not
the new boring carving kind.

I normally push a noob in front of me to clear the path.
This time it was my brother in law from England that got the "beating".
He also ended up in a net and I wet my pants from the hard laughter LOL!
Took me a while to get him un-tangled!:P

So far I never broken anything in the slopes, only while playing soccer and hockey;)

I'll be seeing you out there soon I hope.

All's at 100% as of now, which was easy because they were all 99% when I logged on. Nice.

Mike - I hope you had a great time in London together

SeeJay - welcome back - I hope you are rested and refreshed (or need another holiday, if that's the sort of holiday you like!)

I helped Burnout bring Alpha C back up last night. He was already beavering away when I got there (Alpha C was at 75% at that time). We left all four at 100%

Is our holdings on Galactica the only ones we are maintaining? I'm just coming out of a frantic couple of weeks and when I logged on last night there were only four servers up. I thought that I'd noticed a post or two on the return of USS - or was that just a dream? :D

:)

Yup, I do need a recovery vacation LOL!

What we claim (When I left for skiing) are:
Claimed Territories on USA - NC / Starbucks
- Onyx
- Orion
- Sirius
- Alpha Centauri

Claimed Territories on Legends Of Evochron
- Pices
- Rucker

I haven't been on yet due to lots of work to do with webdesign, so I have no clue if
a server has changed name or was taken down.

If Dingo's USS are coming on again, we claim the "old" systems there as well if they are still owned by us.

Good job all!

Did a short session to get back in the seat again this night.

All systems at 100% when I got on. Nice work guy's.

The [D] came on and started contracting in Onyx.
I countered it and kept it at 100% and killed him once while doing it.

He is now a KOS target for all HB pilots in our or any allies systems.

[D] is truly a member of an alien species. I suspect a young and as yet not fully mature member.

I managed to get on 21:00-ish in the evening. All four of our systems were in the low 90's. I started at Onyx (the hardest because the hostiles keep wanting to play!) and got it back to 100 and then moved on to Orion. I managed several contracts there when there was a ruckus with [D]; Percival offered to help [HB] as an ally since [D] was contracting hard in Onyx and asked if he could return with an [HB] tag. [D] was flying under the name and tag of another pilot and to put in bluntly gobbing off and being obnoxious - not it would seem in order to attack our system (which would have been legit since an [HB] pilot - me - was flying), but to antagonise Percival about a RL issue.

I flew back to Onyx and contracted, Percival took on [D] in a verbal fight. Eventually [D] left allowing the pilot whose IP address he had hijacked to enter the game! "Stuff" was explained (a bit). Marvin and Galactica were voices of calm! I had the opportunity to bring Onyx back to 100 and then do the same for the other three systems.

Overall, not the typical relaxing night doing clan chores in Evochron! :D

I keep forgetting we have real estate in Legends. I'll make an effort to swing 'round and help pick up to sagging numbers tonight if I can, tomorrow night if I end up having company.

If I end up with some RL space invaders tonight I'll get on earlier on Saturday and hopefully catch my brothers across the pond online.

Guys, please give me a chance to tell KingArthur what is going on later today. I'd like the chance to explain for myself.

Edit: I have explained.

Got Rucker on Legends back to 100% :D

Now going to cook dinner and then hopefully return :)

Anyone know what the issue with galactica is?

:)

Glad to assist [HB] anytime guys. I feel I should elaborate a little on DaveK's report on the 'incident' in Onyx.
[D] WASN'T trying to antagonize me at all. He was simply trying to get at another pilot he knows in RL, by antagonizing me.

The reason? He KNOWS that when myself and the other pilot are on the TeamSpeak and on the same server, we have a GREAT time tearing through the vacuum and shooting at each other. He also knows that I fully and openly encourage that pilot to think for themself and be their own person. This is contrary to [D]'s plan to dominate and control that pilot in real life.

He figures that by harrassing that pilot's friends, he can impose a 'ban list' of who that pilot should or shouldn't talk to. Obviously there are delusions of granduer involved. Obviously I'll talk to whoever I want, whenever I want. ;)

Anyway, enough mucking up your thread with this surreal stupidity. :(

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.......
RETIRED.
