Howdy all,
Archys Portal is a new Evochron Mercenary Server based in Australia.
Previously we were a Freelancer server that lasted several years and attracted a reasonably large community.
I have recently closed the Freelancer server in favour of Evochron Mercenary. It is time for something new.
We have a few Freelancers who have made the crossing to Evochron, and i have sent emails to many more. I hope to rebuild a community of people who love to fly in space.
I have redone the website to accomodate our new adventure.
I invite you all to come check out our new server and website.

We have a download section where i would be happy to host mods and addons for the game.
I will also be making available special forum areas for clans who are interested.

I had been wondering where you had disappeared to. You're still on the Discovery Wiki Other Servers page, which is how I found out about Evochron Mercenary. I'd say leave it up until they pull you off. You might attract others to switch. It worked with me. Wasn't sure, but after trying the Demo, I just had to have the full game. Kind of a steep learning curve but very fun.
And if Disco doesn't get their act together and get me back on their in-game server list, I may just be putting up my own Evochron server;)
Due to the server being so quiet i have decided to shut it down.
I have given it a few months but i have never seen it busy. I can use the resources for other projects right now.

Yeah I am sad that it never really picked up speed. Just not enough Aussie players that stayed playing I guess
