GIVING "DEPTH" A 3D LOOK To Dashboard

I'm using MAX.'s Origional Cocpit with My Dash Board. It Looks Good but it would look GREAT if I Could Give the "Consoles" a 3D Look or Depth to Simulate It.

I've Ran it Through PhotoShop but Wasn't able to Render any Depth.

Any Help would Be Appriciated.

thats achieved by a normal map. or bump mapping. the game requires all cockpit parts on one uv map to be able to use it.
which again requires the individual parts to be unwrapped on that map. you do that in a 3d app.

beside getting a normal map out of a mesh (normal baking; posted a link for a programm under maximilien's cockpit) you can fake it. gimp has a script for that purpose; not sure about photoshop.

Thanks ijon but I magaged to Find a BEVEL APPLICATION plugin I had in PhotoShop that Gave me Close to the Look I Wanted. Took a Little Finesing, needed to Account for Consoles Position to a Light source for Shading,etc but It turned out Ok for Now, until I Build another HUD..
