If you moved your game to another computer and manually transferred your pilot profiles, it should've worked.

the game works on the old pc that i use to back things up. but the pc i use for the game now has no profiles and i cant get them back

A newly installed game doesn't come with pilot profiles (which, of course, you already know). So, what I'd do is put your old profiles somewhere safe, run the game and start a new profile (pilot0.sw), then exit the game and substitute your old pilot0.sw for the newly created one ... and see if that works.

Your server shows up in the 8th slot on the list. But neither yours nor server 7 allows for entry. All the others are good.

think i have port issues. just wish i could do these things myself. waiting on poor vice again. the man will be sick of the site of my e mails lol. taking it offline again till tommorow after work.

Firewall/router problem for sure.

It should be ok. now. server is working thanks to powerplay and his 2 and a half hours of grief trying to sort it. Thanks Powerplay

It was supposed to be warm today, so I cranked up the computer in the garage and did a few contracts with Starbuck. Then I went looking for a profile that would put me near our territory in Sanctuary. No luck ... but I did find one near Vonarion (left over from the Quest for Peace). So now IM has a couple trade stations in Vonari space.
