Spacecraft fuel

Post by Cheri50000 »

Hi, guys!

I'm not too sure about the amount of fuel in the fuel tanks used in the evochron spacecraft, is 400 fuel is 400 gallons or 400 kiloliters? Thanks!

Cheers,

400 fuel is 400 bottles of red bull.

 That sounds about right. Certainly, it's the only place I'd pour that stuff.

400 units of fuel? could be anything. Could be 400 metric tons!
400 gallons sounds as to little to me but then again that would be relatively dependant on the kind of fuel and if the fuel is compressed or not.....etc......etc.....I do not think it is important for this Game though as all you really need to know is how many units of fuel you will need to travel a certain distance if you are planning a deep space exploration trip...;)

Hi, Maarschalk!

I think the fuel used in the evochron spacecraft is antimatter fuel or it could be liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen which is used on the space shuttle or some such thing.

I'm pretty sure Vice has put thought in that and calculated what engines use and how that stands to fuel tank capacity and so ans such, but why do you want to know?

The fuel is Endurium (ALA Starflight - one for the elders amongst us.)

 Whatever it is, it's something that can be refined from either nebula gas or the stuff stars are made of. And sometimes from planetary rings.

okay, the fuel is Deuterium or Tritium, since as far as i know the engines, are probably cold fusion reactors.

so yes, basically Hidrogen

Edit: Or antimatter in fuel converters

My engine has been converted into a 'deep fryer diesel'! Everything was good until all the Gorfburger joints got sold to SaladWorks!:(
