For Saitek X52 joystick users (pro/non-pro), at what brightness do you have your led/mfd at?
I'm curious to the answers, I've heard that this contoller was power hungry and could burn out the USB port.

Dim is what I use as I play with the room lights on low and you don't need bright LED's as far as I know.:)

I have the Tab+/ Keys for reverse afterburner assigned to the one to the second lowest band of my throttle and the lowest band to 0 throttle off. I have my X52 throttle set in the profile editor to 6 bands as explained in a different thread. So I use my throttle stick for all thrusthers.

How long did it take for you to get used to doing it that way?

See added picture, and not long! at all since it follows a logical patern From forward After burner to full throttle at 100% to 80-16% to Reverse after burner to slow down and Reverse quickly to 0% throttle off!

After reading this, I feel like retiring my 52 lol, can you turn off the leds completely? Does get annoying after a while.

on the 52pro, you have two rollers on your throttle base(next to start reset buttons). they both are also buttons.. pressing the right roller allows you to dim the MFD, pressing it again allows you to dim the buttons.. use the roller to make it as bright or dull as you wish.. pretty simple.
