hello there, i am a miner/trader and iv been wandering the galaxy for a bit, iv noticed quite a few of you have joined this guild

should i join up and if i do what benefits will i get?

, couple of questions, which server do i join and is there a specific role i should fill to help the clan

We used to play on Remula 1 server but since now it is down, USS server is our first pick when we login.

No role nor command structure is in force; we are independend merchants in the Asimov idea of the term, we help each other an coordinate for common goals but without a well estabilished structure.

We adapt on the fly mainly.

I wish to make a proposal to the IM, as many must have noticed the system of Atlas has a high economic rating, we would benefit if we established a trade station or even took control of this system

(that and the systems we do own i cant go to because of my rep)

System ownership is something that is somewhat agreed with other clans too as not to start internal wars.

On the USS server it all comes on a first come first serve basis so if the system is not owned it should be free for the grab.

hmmm, i have no idea if it has been taken but i can see no other space stations there other than the default ones

You should check the sector map, there you can find the % a clan have in that system.

Rapture, right now you'll probably be flying with Starbuck ... except on Sundays when I use the laptop to play ... then we will all (the three of us) be on line from noon 'till two Pacific time (minimum ... usually longer). When it starts to warm up and I can use the computer out in the garage (without freezing to death), I'll be on just about every day. Same time. And sometimes at night (so I can fly with our pilot from Australia).

The term "Merchant" is a mistake. I was planning to take the guild name from Asimov's Foundation series ... the Independent Traders Guild. But, after creating the signature flag, I realized I'd used the wrong word but was too lazy to change it ... and, now, it's too late.

Nonetheless, there isn't much difference between an independent merchant and an independent trader. So, if you really want to know how either one can be independent, you should go ask Dr. Asimov ... via a psychic.

So explain again how the group came to be known as IM...?

Funny you should notice. I mentioned that same thing to MMaggio back in the days of Legends. Then I looked it up. And realized that, for the most part, I am a goym ... 'though, being a robot, a golem would probably be more accurate. (And you're correct about ITG ... luckily I never invested with them.)

Hi there,

I've been mining and trading for a while in the eu_nl server, and after metting StarBuck, I became curious about this clan..

Can I join? Or should i pass some trial which involves explosions and insane amounts of pain?

Right now the only pain is in deciding which server to call home. But I suspect Starbuck has already made that decision for us.
