Right now Evochron Merc is listed at number 4 in the top sellers list, very cool.

Wow, that's really great news, and I'm very, very happy for Vice (and EM) to get the exposure they really deserve!
And like others have said, I hope this gives Vice a boost in both morale and finances (whether he needs them or not), because I reckon it must be really cool to finally get more validation and recognition!
I'm really glad the awesomeness that is Evochron gets more exposure, and a well-deserved top spot in bestsellers!

Congrats, Vice, and kudos to you who make a pretty darn awesome community and will have your work cut out for you with the influx of new players!

unfortunately, if you look at the steam forum for evochron, there's lots of confusion going on. someone needs to guide them. saw people reporting how the nav map is glitchy, not realising that it works in 3 dimensions, and not 2. some of them even believe evochron just came out :p

i already have a copy of this awesome game is there a way to get the license transfered over to steam? 99.99% percent of my games are on steam. i really don't want to pay anther $20+ if i can help it.

I noticed that as well. Dont have a Steam account and did not want to register just to tell them to come here for more information. Best thing I suppose is to post a message with a link to here. There are a few post with a link but nothing "formal" that I have seen. It is a shame that some people on there are saying the game is buggy but that is because it is new.

Thinking about it, I will register and post. Cant have new players thinking bad about the game.

I might get some of my bros and bronies to buy the game now since it is on sale on Steam. I got the word out before but they really didn't take it seriously since it is indie, I think they'll change their minds now

Just remember to step lightly in the Steam User Forums. That place has its own um... culture, shall we say.

And congrats on coming to Steam, Vice. I've been doing what I can to introduce people to the greatness that is Evochron Mercenaries. This makes it that much easier.

Indeed. Look forward to a ton of new players incoming. I'm one of them in fact! I played the Mercenaries demo religiously awhile ago and even played the full game on a friend of mines computer (he hated space-sims so he barely played it, his loss!) but never had the money to buy the actual game. Today I log on to steam to see my favorite space-sim not only moved to steam, but it's only $20 dollars! Instant buy! Looking forward to seeing you all online!

I am new, because I have never heard of this game before it went live on Steam.

I loved loved loved Freelancer back in the day and further in the past Elite on my Armstrad, so this is the game I have been waiting for!

I love simulations and Evochron is surely a very promising candidate for best space sim so far!

Looking forward to spend a lot of time in the Evochron Universe!
