Last Man Standing - Pilot and Gunner

Hmm...that's right when my lady will be here. Might have to see how deep our love is ;) Anyway nobody has volunteered to be a teammate of mine, so I guess it's a moot point. Just because I've jumped into a few dozen asteroids....and planets....and a rubber chicken, once...

Hey Dingo!

Team: SeeJay/Incoming (DaveK)

Questions!

- Are we allowed to Dock and repair/reload and/or deploy repair stations?
- Are we to remain in 1 sector only?
- Do you keep track of the kills?
- When killed: Is there a way to prevent the other teams to park and start shooting when you re-spawn?
(Maybe a station where fighting is not allowed within 3000K or so?)

That's what I could come up with now regarding any "rules".;)

Yes, I believe this to be correct, though time is relative. :)

I will keep track of kills.

the pilot and gunner combo can switch places whenever they wish.

I am undecided on if all players must be in the same sector, or it can be a hunt and find. To win you must kill others so there is a good reason to find and engage other pilots and not just hide in a corner. Maybe just have to be in the system of sapphire?

Flash and Rubber Chicken will be teaming together.

I don't Know if it works this way but....
Perhaps since there are usually no Reds in Sapphire, we can all put on a [LMS] tag and then after the teams link up we can 'unclan' each other. I'm sure someone wil 'make reds' to throw others of the trail but it might still be useful.

Also we've found that jumping while linked and not on mission separates the team!

Perhaps a half time period where team mates can unlink if they choose and switch roles without being attacked? Maybe like 2-3 minutes?

:o I think that should happen only if you jump into a different sector.

Perhaps you are right Marv. The jumps we made on our practice flights could have been out of sector. I don't nessecarily recall.

LoL...you've been practicing? Geez!

So there I was, at Sapphire Station wondering where everybody was at, and then I got tole....

So good news, tomorrow works a lot better for me anyway.

I have no partner, so my dog Mayoke will be flying gunner with me. He's a German Shepherd, likes long walks on the beach and chasing squirrels, barking at delivery men and has a cat for a girlfriend.

Most importantly, he loves me unconditionally. Not having thumbs may prove problematic, but his loyalty is unquestioned.

After conferencing with the team pilot and support crew, citing hardware problems, warp baffle leakage, and etc.; my participation in this LMS will again be as an on-site Referee. Now, having said and committed to that... Do we have a specific site in Saphire as the rally point? Saphire is large enough, and "placid" enough so that the only "reds" per se, will be the other teams one is hunting; although tags won't really matter, once the shooting starts. Pilot/gunner teams should be permitted to rotate duties during the match-off. Repair/Refuel/Reloads should be performed tactically/strategically at stations/locations of choice or convenience. Camping on spawn points should be grounds for immediate disqual. "Fair Chase" accords, sportsmanship, gentle-being conduct please. Point is to have lots of fun with this, and not unduly/unusually victimize anyone! Probably for the purposes of this event, anywhere outside of Saphire should be considered neutral territory. I'll be flying non-Clan tagged, with possibly [REFEREE] tag only. Mebe jist BUSCH.
Looking forward to this! :P:P:P:P:P :cool:

Might I suggest No FT's or Prox mines and not shooting into or out of docking bays?

FT and prox kills do not count on the chat log, so no need for a rule here i think. Only kills that showup as "X destroyed X" on the chat window will count.

The station at 0 0 0 will probably be designated as safe.

If the area is to big (several sectors) it will be a hard time chasing
around, since you can't keep your gunner if you jump out of the sector.

May I suggest fighting in one sector!?!

Partner? Anyone? Anyone at all? Don't let the fact that we'd stand no chance of winning deter you.
