Don't believe it! I have been around five centuries and every century there is one date the world is over! Besides we have space craft to escape.

My personal opinion is that there are 2 possibilities:

1. Apocalypse/Armagedon already happened (World War 1 and 2, The dropping of the attomic bombs, the War with Iraq...etc!) and we are the silly result of it!

2. Apocalypse/Armagedon is yet to happen due to our own stupidity and disobedience and inability to learn from our mistakes!(Watch Iran and North Korea). Laws and rules are for our protection. If we believe the law of gravity does not apply to us and we jump of a cliff, our death is due to our own stupidity and disobedience to that Law (atleast wear a parachute, bungy cord or use a hang glider!....

:P)

The only relative question is "When?"
All I know is that the Event did happen or will happen if it not already did happen! It has been prommised that Peace will follow after this Event! The Peace process can be slow depending on our stuborness to learn or can be quick if we learn from our mistakes and disobedience!

The current date is as stated above and predicted by the Mayans as the end of a cycle. It's also the date when our solar system aligns with galactic center.

Relatively speaking....

1. Armageddon is the climactic event of the Apocolypse. The Apocolypse is a series of events. Armaggedon is the foretold final battle between good and evil. The Apocolypse also includes the aftermath of this battle - the rebuilding and installment of government for whichever side happens to win. The word Apocolypse translated from Greek roughly means "revealing" or "time of revealing". Armageddon is actually a place predicted to be the central point of the final battle.
To say that the Apocolypse may have, or might still happen are relatively speaking both correct. Much has been revealed to humanity daily from the very first days of our existence and much has yet to be revealed!

2. Relatively speaking... Using a bungee cord to protect against gravity whilst jumping off of a cliff will only result in smacking you off the side of said cliff! Thereby aiding gravity in it's relentless pursuit of "bringing you down to its level"!

21 December 2012 has little (if anything) to do with either. It's the day of an astrological event, predicted by the Mayans and other peoples long before modern astronomy bothered to calculate the alignment of certain celestial objects. It might also have other implications ... but that's another story.

Yes, so you have to use the bungee cord wisely! Also the parachute won't protect you by just wearing it you have to pull the string and the fall distance before it opens and deployes has to be right. Neither will the Hang glider in a strong wind pushing you against the cliff!......But if we do not follow the instructions given to us because we think we do not need them it is again our own stupidity and arogance that will kil us......
