hey everyone, I've got a new music project!
...
only this time its not actual music!
I've started work on a guitar amp modeling system. I would say that it's hard, but it truely hasnt been (mostly because my ideas on how amp overdrive and guitar cabinents work and can be modeled were correct from the beginning. no trial and error needed).
I'm planning on releasing the amp system for free later on down the road. as of now, it only works in FL-Studio 10.
if anyone is interested in my progress, I have some audio demos of it in action!

I'm really proud of these so far, seeing has how real they sound.
at this point, its basically waiting on the fact that I need to upgrade my development tools to be able to compile a VST plugin, as well as the fact that I am horrible at creating a user interface for it.

Nice, it seems like they are making it easier to submit plugins to http://www.kvraudio.com/
Also have a look at this made by the creators of Reaper http://www.cockos.com/wdl/

thanks, though I'm not developing in C. as it happens, I've not got the skills for hardcore programming languages. I have a program that aids me in development, that has its own DSP Scripting language. nowhere near as complicated as C or C++, used in the reaper libraries (not that DSP math and languages aren't complicated on their own)From post: 121261, Topic: tid=8229, author=countjimula wrote:Nice, it seems like they are making it easier to submit plugins to http://www.kvraudio.com/
