Dsl compared to U-verse connections
I am looking into switching to AT&T U-verse Internet from AT&T DSL. I have 1.5 to 3 mb DSL and is the fastest offered in my area by AT&T (or so they say). U-verse offers 6mb for just a little more. I have heard conflicting statements on "PING" from various forums. Some say U-verse is faster but that the "PING" can be higher not lower due to old AT&T infrastructure. I must admit that these things get beyond me. I know we have a well rounded group here so "HELP"! What do you think and/or have knowledge of?:o

I have RCN cable where I live. Had it for a month now, no problems. New to EM and tried muliplayer for a short time. Chat response was Instananeous. Have yet to get into PvP combat, so I can't really tell you how fast that is. I'm going into MP this weekend when I have time. I'll see if there's anyone in my sector who wants to "mix it up" and I'll let you know.

Ok, I get that cable is the fastest connection (maybe:D) but what about "PING" rates? Anyone know of any comparison test for "PING" that have been done?:(

woof... You can try http://pingtest.net/ . This site has info. Seems as though ping is a random thing.
