Having Problems loading an Avatar

I'm trying to load an avatar on my profile, but it keeps giving me an error saying that the image is too large and the pixels need to be less than 125x100.

I've resized the pic to be fewer pixels than that and reloaded it into photobucket and tried again, but I keep getting the same error. What am I doing wrong?

In the profile page where you upload your avatar, check whether there's a file size limit for the avatar. There often is. Also it's worth checking whether the image you want to use has a format that is supported by this board.

If you need any help with the image itself, like resizing in good quality, converting to another format, or anything graphical, give me a shout and I'd be happy to do it for you.

Try inserting the same image directly into a post so we can take a look at it ... maybe figure out why it can't be used as an avatar.

I got it, I just used a different picture and it worked right away. Maybe some pics just aren't meant to be shared;)

It is my way of saying thank you to Vice for creating a game that is ever evolving and forcing us to forever adapt to it (just like real life, and very much unlike other games whose parameters remain static). This is not the same game that I started playing almost a year ago and that is AWESOME!

for example, when I started playing, NOBODY flew military ships, and to a large degree it was a slower paced game with the SW clan dominating everything. Now you see just about every ship being flown, and a wide variety of clans vying for power in an ever-shifting climate of change. I LOVE IT!!!

We have truly created a synergy between Vice's creativity, MM's Remula 1 server which provides the location, and the wide array of game players that keep the EM universe alive with individuality, teamwork, and conflict. That's what makes this the best game I have EVER been involved with. Thank you all:):):)

As you may have noticed, Clan SW now, is not Clan SW then. More of a relaxed focus. Better times are hopefully on the cusp of the blu event-horizon.
