Fought a good battle with HB players Incoming and Mecingo. Cleared stations in Atlas and Olympus. Worked on percentage in varies other HB systems as well. Good fighting all!

Cindy, Why don't you stop attacking. We all know you are a good fighter. Isn't there anything you can do that is better then getting Chased all day, or spending your time doing some thing that wont matter to us very much, since we can just re-build?
Note: I think this is very civil. Cindy, there is still time to stop. I don't think you want to go 'Over board' As I call it. People do Not like going 'Over Board'. I Hope you see that fighting HB is a waste of Your time. What else could you do? Tons! Stop fighting HB and come join me for my Barbecues.

I finally figured out what I was doing wrong here. I was fighting back for the second time in my life... didn't work the first time and it didn't work the second time, just made things worse. I'll miss you, my friends. Maybe when I get off school and on vacation I'll come back... and maybe not. Good bye.

Well I was kicked from the server today for, mostly trolling to try to get a certain someone to fight me. But MM kicked me off even though I used no curse language. I would like there to be a thing in bold print to say "No trolling" but hidden laws always seem to get people like me, I thought it was a no rules server, excludes language. But if I'm not able to get back on in the near future I just want to say great flying with you Dingo, and SJ and everyone else. I might have to find another online community.

sorry for butting in on another clan's thread, i was just there to witness. server admin had it in for him. he was warned and kicked. after that, he stopped. while I was in chat talking to him, R1 banned him, saying "I've had enough of you", even though he wasnt doing anything at that point.

Yes I hope it can be resolved, some servers I played on different to this game, old counter strike for example team kill, cheating or abuse banded people for different periods of time hrs days weeks etc depending what was done , or total if very bad.

Was online at the time, so I'll add my tuppence worth I guess.
I don't think that CIndy was kicked, just Mecingo.
Cindy left, assuming something that may not have been intended.

Either way, as I said at the time, seen far worse baiting in local on Eve.

I think that R1 was primarily concerned with a new guy's first impressions of the online game, than at the infraction itself.

I also said at the time, I think a permaban is too harsh, and tbh really a ban in the first place unwarranted, but I guess if folks take this as a message from R1 about keeping it friendly to avoid deterring newbies, then I would imagine that no ban needs to be enforced permanently.

Let this not split the community here, there's only one real "much used" server for the game, so Mecingo will be missed if this isn't resolved.

I strongly urge R1 to reconsider the permanance of lastnigt's proclamations...

A thought for a suggestion for the game in general, to avoid similar situations, a local-only or same-system channel for typing, much as the voice works, might alleviate global baiting spilling over into other's experience of the game?

Or would players be up for voluntarily keep such baiting in voice channels only until a solution is implemented?

Only saying, cos not everyone coming to the game will be prepared for the baiting mentality.

I always try to use voice comms as much as I can whether in game or software such as ventrilo or teamspeak to avoid situations like this as I had a similar incident in the past with R1 with a simple miscommunication. Hope Mecingo returns soon.

I've just looked at the first post - what a healthy number we are now.

Also looking at Clan territory - it looks like out motto could be "today half the Universe, tomorrow the rest!" :P

I would appreciate some help/practice with PvP - people are definitely different from AI, who appear to be like the stormtroopers in StarWars - they can and do miss at point blank range because they still haven't worked out that the front of my ship isn't the direction I'm travelling in (thank heavens!)

Construct [HB] STNs in our New Systems and Get clan Rep% Up.

As Far as "Catch Up" that's about It.
