Also, as Flight Commander, any clan pilots wishing to train in combat need only ask while i am online. I will be happy to oblige. Ditto with ranking up for military missions.

Updated first post with Claimed systems.

NS is claiming Talison and Cygnus. We will not claim those two systems.
The rest is ours. We will also help Bleve restore Talison to NS if he wants us to.
We started working there with warsigns approval.

First post will be updated today or tomorrow with actions HB will make.

I would also like to do a lot of mil stuff - I've got my heart set on an Evoch-E (mid life crisis - need a sporty model etc! )

I also need to get better to move on in the IMG quest so that I can get onto SeeJay's.

Had an encounter with clan enemy [TER] Terror. The end result was one victory for me, against no losses. It should be noted however that it was a 2v1 event in our favor. Whatever else it is, Terror is a very skilled pilot. Tactical information regarding this opponent will be sent through private channels. Still, chalk one up on the kill board.

I've just domne a handful of contracts in Talison to up our percentage - to no avail: 15% before and still 15% after!

1. How can I help us establish our new territory?
2. I'm happy to build stations - do we use any particular coordinates? (I notice that we tend to made a nice square (why not a hexagon? - we are bees after all!))
3. Do we have any naming system, apart from bee related?

Hi Dave, anything SeeJay says to the contrary supersedes these answers, but until then...

1. We don't actually claim Talison. This hasn't be changed on the site and thread yet, though a few posts back Seejay says this, but Talison is for [NS]. Same with Cygnus. Secondarily, just doing a contract while you have your clan-tag on should up the percent. If it isn't, sometimes the map is simply a bit slow to update.

2. No particular co-ordinates, but do try and stay at SY 0. It just makes it a lot less messy.

3. No naming convention save what you already stated and within the bounds of decency, of course. Knock yourself out with shapes! I like the hexagon idea personally.

Actually Mike I fluffed with Cygnus - I meant Talison and Merak.

Look on the Clan map and Talison appears to be marked as both [NS] and as [HB], and Merak as [HB] and [DD] now at 12% and 19% respectively - it obviously does take a little time to update contracts. If you look at our clan only in the Nav Map both are clearly there hence my assumption that we are moving in.

I do read the website, very frequently. but . . .

EDIT: Rats - I missed SeeJay's update yesterday telling me to stay out of Talison and explaining why we apparently have a rating there - very embarrassing! I am happy to apologise directly to [NS] <insert embarrassed smiley here> EDIT 2: I've apologised to NS

However, if you notice I ask before I do anything that I don't understand for sure, hence the offer to build stations, the checking of location and naming of stations.

In terms of posting on the Clan thread rather than sending everything through "Head Office", I needed info quickly since I'm free this afternoon and away until Wednesday from tomorrow and hence aimed my questions at the experienced group who make up the Clan maximising the chance that someone might see it - I've only been on MP for a couple of weeks or so.

Perhaps, since you want our reports daily and via email you might want to email us with daily intelligence reports so that we don't miss them.

BTY, CAPITALS (unless they are acronyms like BTY) are considered to be "shouting" in emails and forums and rude really - were you actually intending to shout at me? If you want emphasis without meaning to shout then bold, italic or another colour are very effective



ps - I've been docked and "inside" a station whilst I've been typing and have just has a Vonari fighter and his mate "knock" on my shield - rather hard!! I thought we were safe inside stations!

Dave, the Talison Warzone is marked as 19 percent HB, it is different than the Talison system. Warzones can always be operated in by anyone.

Merak is marked as HB now, the DD is actually a hidden system that shows up as only a number and not as a name. It is simply located close to Merak, and the quad map is rather crowded. It can be confusing. Hope this helps somewhat.

I am working on a comprehensive system control faq, since many many members of most clans don't know how it works. There are a lot of nuances that aren't documented anywhere.
