Any EVE Online Players?

I was just thinking if there are any other players of that mmo out there we should hook up and try to take over that mmo create a evochron corporation or something and take the eve online world by storm! if you play whack your name below and I'll contact you in game.

If not I'll obviously still be playing Merc, eve doesn't have the same feel to it that Merc does I have to admit.

I forgot to mention my own online name there : Siege Karu

I never touched Eve, for one paying every month I find a waste of money, then I feel obligated to play or else it is indeed truly wasted money.

That and the fact that you cannot really pilot your ship.

I did play Freespace 2 Squadwar, that was pretty intense PvP battles, not to mention the infernal Squadwar forum from Volition, the best flamewars I have ever seen where there lol.

Volition said they closed the squadwar forum because of the flamewars but I think the server collapsed because I could not handle the heat.

This board sure has changed from the old days.

It's interesting that so many people felt the need to denigrate EVE Online, it shows loyalty to your game, a game that I also love btw, but this thread was not really the place for it. I created this thread under the mistaken thought that there would be other like minded people out there that might like to join forces from time to time. Apparently I was mistaken and for that you have my apologies.

For myself I like both games, they each have something different about them that I like. I just thought there might be others of the same opinion.

Nah, it's a great game. Different, but great. It just takes too much time for me to continue playing it.

The new character creator looks amazing, wish other devs would put something similar in some non-spaceship games. >_>

lol, that character creator totally whacks out my laptop, but other than that the game runs fine, as long as i stay away from fleet battles and as a simple but humble miner you bet i want to avoid those

Used to play EVE and loved it, many good times, ran with the NC as a dread/carrier/bs pilot, loved the 1000+ player battles. Oh and it doesn't cost a penny if you're rich in the game, you can buy game time, thats what I did for 2 accounts(once you pass ~5b its cake). They killed it though with the fleet lag that hit with dominion, I hear its getting better but that game requires much more time than I have anymore in order for it to be as fun as it used to be, might try it again once they have INCARNA up and running.

I played Eve for quite a while. I have pretty strong views on that game so i;ll just leave it at that.

I did quite a few videos on youtube that you can check out if you want. Its not just Eve stuff but enjoy.

Only things I miss from Eve are the friends I made, my Fenrir freighter and Orca mining command ship.

Could really use a larger cargohold replacement for hauling...

Having a paid wingman in an Orca-like ship to mine for longer would rock too...

Get your EVE friends to come EM and take EM by storm. Better graphics here and more fun.
