Well what a diappointing start!

Run a few contracts in the Talison War Zone, thereby taking some territory occupation off HB. So BA acquired some territory at HBs expense!

And HB were nowhere to be seen, so it was "all too easy".

However we did not destroy any stations.

We have an agreement with clan DW.

They will not take out any stations when no HB pilot is online.
We will not remove theirs unless at least one pilot are online either.
They do not dock/repair while deploying StationDet, so No FT:s allowed.

We will however rebuild any stations whenever we want.

We do a lot of combat training up there,
so that might be why.

Warzones are the only place we humans can get mil frames at all and get enough "credit" to get a decent military frame doing mil contracts - hence Talison Warzone.. My experience last night has persuaded me that a top of the range StarMaster doesn't cut it in combat with really bad-assed baddies turning on a sixpence (UK)/dime (USA)/choose your small coin (where ever you are), with tougher armor, better auto targetting etc etc etc (naming no names but are you reading this Leader? )

So, be afraid (. . . . eventually in my case :P:P:P )

Actually, a Starmaster hasv 300 Units of Armour a CHIMERA (HIGHEST MIL FRAME) has 375.There are only 2 Mil Frames with More Armour than the Starmaster.So Civi Armour is Near That of a Mil Frame. Auto-Targeting (I'm assuming you mean the MDTS) is Identical on both Civi ans Mil Frames. With the Exception of Engine Speed ( No IDS THROTTLE UP) Agility is the Same in Corresponding Frames. I don't remember my Civi Chips Names but the Lower the Armour the Higher the Agility. Except for Minor Differences Some Civi Frames can Be as Agile as some Mil Frames, and With Civi Frames you can have a Crew and can Customize Wings,Eng,Shield Etc.Mil Frames you get to Choose your Fuel Tank with one Cargo Bay.Thats It.
But I Do Agree that the Ratio of Agility to Armour is MUCH BETTER in a Mil Frame.

If You want to Do COMBAT You NEED a Mil Frame to be Your Best. Testing by ONE OF THE BEST PILOTS I KNOWI has Proven That.
Civi Ships are NOT Specially Designed for Combat, like a MIL FRAME.

I went back to a civilian frame after flying the Avenger for a long time and find my combat designed Mammoth perform great in combat.

Agility is pretty much the same.
I now have slightly less armor in the Mammoth but that's no real issue for me.
Acceleration is not as good as the Avenger but in several cases I find this actually an advantage.
I now enjoy twice the repair speed if I take damage.
Max speed is a little less in the Mammoth but again this is no issue for me.

So in all fairness, you don't NEED and military frame to be your best in combat, in the end it all comes down to skill, not what you use.
Same with IL2 Sturmovik where I shot down Me262's in a Hurricane IIc on online dogfight servers, skill counts more then hardware.

I DISAGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY. A Test was Done by a EXTREMELY SKILLED PILOT on Using the MAMMOTH vs AVENGER as a Combat Fighter. The Results He Found were the MAMMOTH was An Incredidley Poor Combat Platform in General, and especially when Compared to the AVENGER. I Will Rely on THIS PILOTS views over Anyones, especially someone who may consider himself more of a Fighter Pilot than he may be, not Nessesarly referering to Avenger Personally, of Course.

LMAO, fine, I will still say the same, you don't NEED a mil ship to be your best, SKILL counts MORE then what you use, FAR more.

I find it actually HILARIOUS that he found the Mammoth an Incredibly poor combat platform in general when it is one of the BEST civil ships when it comes to a combat role.

But then, what do I know right, I am not a combat pilot, I only have over 26000 kills flying combat missions in pretty much every system in EM.
Turned hostile systems reputation to good reputation in my incredibly poor combat platform, winning fights in hostile systems where I just tested my skill by attacking everything and found myself surrounded by pretty much 30-40 ships and a few Navy capital ships throwing missiles at me at the same time and survive, fighting until my CM's where out and get away in the end with roughly 200 kills.

I tried to make a video of this but the video bloated to over 2.5 gigabyte is size.

Before the whole mil ship BUFF everbody flew a civil frame and NOBODY said they where INCREDIBLY poor combat platforms, so I find it REDICULOUS that just because the mil ships had a MAJOR BUFF that all of a sudden ships that EVERYONE used because they where the BEST ships in the game are now all of a sudden pretty much labled useless by this so called skilled pilot.

Now I go to the hospital to have a look at my fractured ribs and re-attach my laughed off behind from laughing too hard.

As I said Before, an ACTUAL SIDE BY SIDE TEST was done Using the MAMMOTH and The AVENGER. The PILOT who Conducted these tests is the BEST PILOT I KNOW OF OR HAVE SEEN.

His Results PROVED the MAMMOTH to be MASSIVELY INFERIOR to the AVENGER (or Any Comparable MIL FRAME for that Matter) in a COMBAT FIGHTER ROLE. I Trust his Judgement IMPLICEDLY. Common Sense would tell You that the Fact there ARE MIL FRAMES Means Civi FRAMES must Be Lacking as COMBAT FIGHTERS.

YES, I have Heard, and Heard, and Heard from You About Your 26,000 Kills, and How you "Always have 5-6 Missiles tracking Me at Once, but Hey, Thats never a Problem for Me", The SELF PRAISE and BOASTS Contained in your Post, and So Many Other Statements about What an INCREDIBLE COMBAT PILOT You Are. But the Fact is YOU are the Only one Saying This. I've Never Heard even ONE SINGLE PILOT say "Avenger is an Awesome Combat Pilot" , just You , Over and Over Again. Do you REALLY Consider 26,000 Kills ALOT?

If you do run the test again then I advice asking pow to fly the mammoth. I think we all will agree he has the skill you need.

Have you actually timed the acceleration in a mil frame? - it's a constant for civ frames regardless of which class of engine you fit and regardless of which class of frame - the engine only affects the top speed. I seem to remember timing it at about 15 secs to reach 2000 (with 2300-ish as top speed)

Edit - I've jsut tested out the most basic mil frame (started a new mil profile) and it takes 10 secs to reach 2000 (with 4000+ top speed). It is also a heck of a lot more responsive. Personally I think the significant increase in agility, top speed and acceleration is going to make a difference in combat.

I thought that in the regrading of mil vs civ frames a few months ago, the mil frames got better equipment built in as standard as well as a cargo bay and more hardpoints

The acceleration would be a major factor for me (as would be a linked increase in top speed) - it's sort of a straight line version of agility in turns - after I've swept by taking pot shots it takes ages to slow down and get heading back again - in MP the mil team (who are excellent combat pilots anyway) had cleared the baddies before I got back!!

If civ frames really aren't that bad in combat then please keep it quiet - 2 reasons

1: the mil mob will be demanding upgrades again so that their ships are a lot better than civ frames because they have to earn them through grit, determination, preseverence, blood, swaet and tears in a very hostile war situation and can't just buy them with easy to obtain money like civ pilots can and it isn't fair . . . yada yada yada

2: it blows my excuse and dints my self esteem because that's the excuse I use to explain my dismal combat performance

Had some great flying and helping Hape out with some easy cash and raising Cerulean % at
the same time.

[X] Unknown turned up and we did some joint combat contracts.

When Hape left, we continued doing Escort Contracts.
When all AI reds were killed, Unknown turned on the Escort forcing me to protect it
from him/her. Great fun and a bit of a twist to the Escort contract.
Shieldwolf also joined and we had some great fun.

This doesn't mean that [X] Unknown is hostile to HB.
He was helping out and we ended my session with some great unusual PvP time.

Great fun all involved.
