New Sounds
I know this is an old thread, but there were two of the sounds that sounded a little 'static.' I cleaned them up a little so anyone can check them out if they so desire, so long as Maximilien has no objection. They two were:
-nuke.wav
-warp.wav
I just ran a low-pass filter through them so they don't sound as 'washed out' when the sound gets louder.
Compare these ones to the old ones and you should be able to tell the difference.

Actually all the explosion sounds should be removed, as you can't hear those in space.

I agree with you Splosives. I actually replaced the explosion sounds with a blank file. Only thing is I'd like to have the explosion sounds when I'm in atmoshpere... would be nice if there were separate explsion files for planet surface.
