Just googled for a game similar to the Freelancer from Microsoft
and stumbled over this sim and tried it out. Hooked ever since.

I actually found StarWraith II on CD at Comp USA way back in 2003. Been here ever since!

Googled "Elite type space game". Went through the list...no...no...no... Evochron was on the second page. Played the demo, was hooked.

The Ripster first introduced me to this game, two years ago Thanksgiving time. Very glad he did.

Starwraith or Starwraith II was on the back of the CD-box containing DarkBASIC in '99 or so? Always piqued my interest, never searched for it until somewhere in '05, when I found that box again.

I've heard about it on 4chan's videogame board. I really liked the design of the cockpit and the freeform nature of the game interested me, so I checked it out.

In 2007, I searched for a game like "Elite" style via Google and found Arvoch Conflict. I tried the demo but I didn't buy the game for some reason that I couldn't remember right now.
And then, in 2008, I searched a game again via Google and I was a huge fan of X series at that time. Found Renegades and bought it after trying its demo. And I'm still here and believe in me, I didn't go back to other space sim games after bought Renegades. Freedom was awesome feeling!
And with Renegades and Legends I enjoyed a lot. Adventures continue with Mercenary now!

I think I randomly Googled space sims one day. Not sure of the exact path the search took me, but it eventually ended at SW3DG.

I found Starwraith 2 & the demo for SW 3 on the Dark Basic Showcase sight, before it was shut down, probably 3-4 months before. I eventually searched out the rest of the series via Google and Wikipedia. And then downloaded all the games between then and the current ones. I then bought Evochron Legends.

Was looking for a space trading game like privateer on the search engines and I found this treasure of a game! Tried getting into X series but it had an extremely steep learning curve even though it tried to be Elite. I bought Renegades all the way to mercenary and never looked back. This is the best space sim game since freespace and wing commander seris and those are my all time favorite space games. The inertial combat reminded me of the slide technique I used to fight kilrathi ships in wing commander 3 LOL and I love using it in this game. Vice keeps this rare genre alive and that makes me happy all the more and I commend him for that. Thank you so much for this outstanding masterpiece Vice!

Wow...How did I hear about this game...I googled during the Renegades game, I was hooked every since. I have enjoyed Legends and Mercenary since then, and I always look forward to the next installment, why? because I know it's going to be that good.

First heard of Evochron via SpaceSimCentral.com
Figured it's about time I gave it a try, glad I did.
Fed up with the stupid easy-to-fix bugs in X3 that never got fixed, and Eve has lost is lustre since the last "expansion".
Am looking forward to learning the game a bit more then playing online soon.
Very nicely made piece of software, impressive achievement and it can only grow from here, onwards and upwards Vice!
Community and modding seems small but active and friendly.
Seeing Vice active in developing alongside modders is encouraging for the future too.
