Can't get custom colors to work...

I've made some textures to replace the hull2.dds files. The default hull2.dds works fine, but when I try to replace the color option ones (hull2-0.dds, etc) it doesn't show up. I used the same process to convert to DDS for each one, but only the main hull2.dds works.

Any ideas?

Okay, I hate to bump this, but I'm pulling my hair out. I've tried replacing the colors (hull2-0, etc) with a dds file that I know works, but the default colors still show up. Not sure what I'm missing. They DO still go in the ships directory, right? Again, not a big deal, but just one of those things that I get obsessed with until I find the problem. Has anyone else seen this?

ask vice it may be a glitch i never tried the color option textures myself

Does it ever! First hand experience aside, everywhere I see this game talked about, there's always some mention of it's incredible support!
