It's a dynamic universe, and if you don't attend the latest weapons and tactics conferences (held at your local Holiday Inn Express conference room every 3rd Thursday) then you fall behind. The Romulan has obviously been spending his time picking up star struck local chicks in back water drinking holes in the neutral zone and got behind the power curve:D

I saw the Romulan in the Onyx Space Station the other day and he looked haggard, and was drinking malt liquer from a paper bag and pushing a shopping cart around (which had a hand painted sign on it that said "Starmaster"). This was just sad:(

I still say it was not our original Romulan and I'm sure I will be able to verify it, if I catch him online.
Then we shall see who it is... !

I have since been able to get confirmation. The new Romulan threat is not, I repeat, not the Romulan we have grown to know & hate.
This is in no way meant to dimish his threat or welcome. All aliens are welcome at Remula One!
Perhaps in time, this young Romulan will acquire the same skill and master the art of cloaking that our old Romulan did.
Hail Romulan!

 I guess the "real" Rommie will need to do what Cervantes did when bogus Don Quixote stories started popping up.

Aw, I've never been in a clan before, and this one seemed somewhat befitting for me (I got my start as a Material Defender, and I intend to die that way! ). Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that any of you still fly in Legends, so I would presumably not be able to join in any of the fun... :(

Well, I finally figured out why one of our territories keeps diminishing at an excessive rate even though I’d maxed out the number of stations. As it turns out, there’s no definitive correlation between an area that’s designated a “territory and the border between areas where you build stations.

In other words, you can max out the number of build-able stations in one area of space … but those stations might (or might not) overlap into two territories. If there is an overlap, then only some of those stations are helping to prevent territorial degradation.

One way to check is to move a considerable distance away from your current location, but still in the same territory, and see if you can now build more stations.

Which begs another question. If station saturation can overlap two territories, is it possible to build, say, 25 stations in each corner of a territory, thereby increasing the total from 50 to 100?

Nice consideration.... I fear only Vica can help in this but IMHO a staion is in one single point of space and every single poin of space probably is only in a single station, on a side or the other of the border.

 Hey, Denny. A new merchant visited one of our "out of the way" star systems today. Pavel. I let him build a non-tagged station in the northwest corner of the system ... then left him there to do some trading and pick up a few extra bucks. Don't be surprised if, when you see him, he has the [IM] tag in front of his name.

 No problem. I spent a couple hours today getting our two systems back to 100% ... seems just about everyone else was sitting in front of the "telly" watching somebody get married. The way my wife was carrying on, you'd think it was royalty.

:o I thought I had it sorted. It was working when I closed down last Friday ... then I tried yesterday (without making any further changes) and kept getting error codes. After following Vice's step-by-step instructions, I finally ended up face-to-face with the keycode entry page (for about the third time) and gave up. My registry is a mess again and I have files strewn all over the desktop.

I'm working with SeeJay on a project of his and, so, in order to continue helping, I'll be rolling back to an earlier version of the game. It's either that or start all over with a brand new profile. That's something I can't do right now ... gotta get the house ready for visiting relatives. Sorry.

You have no idea how tired I am right now ... exhausted. But, since I haven't deleted the ... oh, wait. Nope. I'm back at the keycode screen again. Well, ok. One more time. If I can test a "pilot0" profile without ... but I doubt it will work. I'm now getting pop-up error codes when attempting to run the Demo.

Oik. Email me the profile. I'll try reinstalling the current version of the game after pulling out all my profiles and the update file. If the Demo works after that, I'll try your profile. But don't count on it. Make it any profile. If I can get to MP using it, I'll clone it to the first slot (pilot0) and go from there.

 Guys, I've been a bit busy working on a modded quest for those who could use more linearity (I think I just made up that word) in their game. And I want to thank Gorf for his suggestion as to where I could find a station bomb thingy. The location only had one for sale ... and I had to carry it a long, long way ... so I crossed my fingers and relied on what I knew from other pilot's experiences when it came to actually deploying the bomb. Luckily, it worked first time (the game automatically saves after the bomb explodes) ... and I even managed to survive the blast.

You can dock and sit tight in the station and wait for the blast. It will not hurt you.;)
