Player Station Market Prices

Question: If I build my own station in Single Player in a Hostile location, are the market prices completely random or will they closely match what the local station uses?

Also, will that work the same in MultiPlayer?

I'm just considering avoiding the docking fee and the station license cost, $40k per visit or $3.3 million respectively.

If nobody knows check back in a few days as I'll post my results.

It's my understanding that prices are driven by the local economy.

No docking fees are charged at player built stations (that I am aware of at any rate).

Note that 'Your price' as station owner will be somewhat lower than 'Joe Mercenary' who does not have a station license at that location.

SP/MP game-play is identical, and you can jump back and forth with the same pilot profile, but built items like stations don't transfer over.

According to the training video that Vice put on Youtube, you automatically have a license for a station you build.

We* did discover that, if you use a clone to build a few stations and then go back to your original pilot profile, you'll find out that the licenses didn't go with you.

That is actually logical Marvin, since the original profile didn't build it.

It's like another player have build it.

I tend to agree with SeeJay here.

I only have 2 clone files as backup if the main file get's all messed up for some reason.

My 2nd Profile where I fly a civil ship is a fresh start one.
