How to Add 2 More Cargo Slots

Like everyone I've started with three of five cargo slots.

What is the quickest / easiest method for making the other 2 slots available?

Is it just a matter of making enough money to afford to reconfigure your ship?

If so, how much is needed?

Thanks, but your link only shows a mercenary map, no ship configuration information at all.

Also, my question was how to add to slots to my starting ship, if that's at all possible.

you'll have to buy a bigger ship with more bays to fiddle around with - the Starmaster has 21, I think, of which you can make 5 cargo bays, 5 equip slots, 8 missile bays, 2 crew, and take on 4 CM slots, or you can poke ita round, your choice.

You may need a bigger ship to get more build points which determine how much you can put on a ship. You may be able to add more cargo bays but you will have to reduce something else.

You can also reconfigure your current ship from the shipyard. And with some ships, you can expand your equipment beyond the original five slots.
