hello i just wanna say hello i just purchased evochron legends and i'm enjoying it so far good job to all who made this game

Welcome. There is a new version out: Evochron Mercenary.
It's one mans creation.

Thats what most people play and that for MP as well.

wait i thought legends was the most recent game i thought mercenaries came before legends am i wrong about that?

Yes, Mercenary is the last version, not Legends.

thanks everyone sure wish i could get a refund on evochron legends since i was wrong and thought that it was the most recent game

not cause i didn't like legends i just want the most recent evochron game

Thanks Bravehart i should have mercenaries by early next month depending on how much of my paycheck i'll need for bill (i get paid Monthly) so hopefully i'll be on mercenaries in early April and just out of curiosity do you guys still have an active multiplayer community for mercenaries?

Mercenary is the active multiplayer community. Most play on MMaggio's server ... short name is R1. Long name is something like Remula ... I can never remember. MMaggio made a mistake when he named it that, anyway.

Well, keep playing Legends as the flight dynamics are about the same and you will need to master the nav map. Both games have much in common.

That IS the multiplayer community:)

It's a great group, though just watch out for anyone with a [BA] in front of their name, they love to beat up newbies:D

MP is great for asking questions, getting flying tips, and generally hanign out with some great folks. I look forward to ssing you out there.

also i'm curious about how well my laptop will run this game i'm using a gateway model NV78 with 4 gigs of ram if anyone could tell me how well this game will work on this laptop i would appreciate it

Try the demo. It's the whole game ... with restrictions on how far you can travel.

Hi Weberman375, welcome to the forum and Evochron. I have 3 of the Game series, Renegades, Legends and Mercenary and I love all 3 of them. But for Multiplay online it is Mercenary that is the newest and the latest....Catch you out there if you decide to purchase Mercenary as well. You might get a discount for owning Legends......

i wish i could get a discount i'm only about 2 dollars shy of enough money to get it i'm hoping for a discount cause after watching some video's of mercenaries i'm more anxious to play it than ever

Check with Vice (The Creator). There were a discount when he released Mercenary for every
previous game you had.

also just on a random subject iv'e been browsing the forums for more advice on mercenary and iv'e been hearing a lot of praise for a ship called the Starmaster can someone explain to me what makes this particular ship so likeable and why almost every player see's it as the practically perfect ship (i'm just curious?)

You have a lot of stuff on my website (http://evochron.junholt.se) Spoiler alert.

It's great in both trading/mining, exploring and fighting since you can have a crew in CIV ships.
MIL ships are "stronger" but you can't have a crew.

Military ships don't need a crew

Personally I prefer the Mammoth over the Starmaster as a Civilian ship.
It all comes down to personal preference in the end.

I still play Legends at times as it has differences that I like. I think you will like both.
