planet landing burn in

i remember from legends being able to decend at a faster speed by having the belly of my shuttle face the direction i'm going down and activating my downward thrusters

is this still possible in mercenary?

Yep, that's still possible. Lot's of things you could do in Legends are also doable in Mecenary

Yep, and with the new ids multiplyer you can have your speed steady at the max alowable for atmospheric planet descent.
no more constantly adjusting afterburner for faster descent....
