 Yeah, I love Atollski's program. And now we have MapMan's list with a search function. Had I used it yesterday, I could've saved you the time spent trying to find a planet that had already been charted.

:) Btw, as I mentioned yesterday, we have a lot of these in the U.S. ...

Image I noticed this last week that IM had taken control of territory belonging to another clan. Granted, each IM pilot is "independent" and can do as he/she pleases ... but I personally think it's a waste of time to do contracts in a star system that will eventually revert back to somebody else.

 I have a short list of unclaimed territories that might serve us better. Some are in Hostile systems ... others are in Fair or Good systems. Take your pick. Just U2U me and I'll give you the names of the stars and planets ... and you can then go to MapMan's website to get the coordinates. Be advised, most of these systems are off the beaten path.

Yup... I concur. It's best not to start a war either with the other clans and focus on doing our things without stepping on anyone's toes if possible.

 I might be jumping the gun here but, just in case I'm not, we might want to think about getting our territories back up to speed. Two of them, at least. Meaning, the two "Fair" star systems. The stations are already in place. Hopefully, all we will need to do is another 100 contracts in each and then continue doing minor housekeeping thereafter.

;) Allowing me more time to seek out new civilizations ... before Tbird finds them all.

Yup... I only need to get my 4th pip and being able to get a heavy bomber from the navy.....then I'll be getting back down and dirty in those systems.

Shouldn't be long....isn't it?

Image I think you need to be a commander to get access to all military ships. That would be 150 contracts, I guess.

No...that is rank.... a contract can provide you even more than one rank.

I think I'm 147 or more...-.-

I'll be Commander at the beginning of next session.... so that we can move to our space after I pick a suitable ship for me.... just give me 10 minutes for tryouts.
Best regards

 Any of you guys remember a movie called "Back to the Beach" ... a Frankie and Annette movie made about twenty years after the original beach flicks? When drive-in theaters were popular.

It was about how Frankie goes back to his old surfing haunts and thinks he's still numero uno hotshot surfer. 'Till he finds out that there's a new bunch in town.

Well, that's what happened today when Romulan entered the Evochron universe after being absent for far too long. Granted, he got a couple kills ... but never without killing himself in the bargain. And, in the end, he got owned (as the phrase goes) by SeeJay.

 I asked SeeJay what kind of ship Rommie had been flying. He said it was the kind that smokes and flames a lot.

Truly that must have just been a Romulan scout who was trying to make a name for himself. The Romulan commander we all know & "love?" would not be such an easy kill.

Well, Rommie will need to adjust tactics to EM and of course there are a bunch of people that can tear him apart in a fight.

Funny enough I highly doubt that, much have changed lately with the game mechanics and ships.
We have adepted, this Romulan feller didn't.

His "style" of combat clearly indicates that he is out of shape with proximity mines where he kills himself in the process.
In my book that doesn't even count as a kill since the "killer" got killed at the same time.

If anyone can claim the kill it's the mine so put the kill marks on a mine fragment and place it in the hall of aces.

I don't even know what he did at the station, my guess is he either fired an torpedo at close range or he triggered his own proximity mine.
Either way when I was enjoying my cold one the mine/torpedo 'Clan" racked up another kill for the hall of aces.

And as fast as SeeJay whooped his ass I bet a pair of dirty socks that spawned to life can spank Romulan's baby's bottocks into a cryfest.
