Cant use Black hole

Ok so i have been trying and trying but every way ive tried to use the wormhole in the middle of the black hole has resulted in my horrific explosive death, and yes i have made it in to the wormhole but always explode against an odd shiny barrier? any help would be welcome

You have to plot your jump point so that when you exit the jump sequence your exit point is smack in the center of the wormhole. So plot your jump coords between 2500 to 2800 units beyond the center of the wormhole and make sure you have a shieldbooster and keep augmenting power energy to forward shields by pressing the forward shields fast repeatedly till your through the wormhole. You should pass through it fine with some damage depending on your ships frame and armor.
Now if an object is blocking the Wormhole that would be strange...Cause there is nothing that can stay and block the Wormhole inside a black hole......unless some player managed to built a Station in side or close to the Wormhole....LOL...
Here is an Idea, try to built a Shield Array inside the black hole......

There's a what hiding in a blackhole??? What kind of madness does this game have going on? Next thing I know someone will tell me there are free credits in the middle of a star >.<

Some black holes have a wormhole in the middle that leads to a distant spot. You have to jump just right to survive as stated above.

How do you even calculate the coordinates? The map doesn't zoom in far enough... is it just trial and error? I'm still new and haven't gotten the navigation system fully down yet, lol. Plus some times it bugs out... I'll click to look at other areas and the map just shows me blank space (instead of the object/planet I clicked on) and won't let me set a course there $:-\$ \ Just updated though, so I'll see if that still happens!

right click on the wormhole to get the co-ords ( though you will need to adjust it by the magic number).

Also if you have a navigator they will always adjust your co-ords to 'safe' ones, if you want to do some extreme jumps, throw them outta the vaitlock ( unless their name is dax

)

Click on what you think is the middle of the black hole using both views. You will see that the coordinates show is the SX SAY ZS and S Y Z boxes. Remember (write them down lol ) them so that you can change them as stated above. Yes it is a lot of trial and mostly error (lol) and a lot of death.

Oh yes, I forgot about the Navigator. If you want to jump through the wormhole inside a blackhole you have to let your Navigator take a spacewalk and leave him behind cause he will be to scared and refuse your orders to jump through the middle of a blackhole....

Thanx for the answers, peeps! So, Marvin... have I just been looking at sectors w/ a wrong height value and that's why it's showing me nothing - because at that height there is just nothing there? Nice explanations on page two of that link btw... doubly interesting for me because I'm learning Trigonometry at the moment :-D

Yes. The method outlined is pretty much foolproof. When I scatter stations around a star system, I usually stack them ... ergo doing the "Front view, left click -> Rear view, left click -> Front view, right click" is a must.

Hello everyone, I'm just a novice pilot:). The game is fascinating (sorry for my poor English). But I believe that the black hole for Andromeda is insurmountable ... I own:

StarMaster, 10 shields, boosters 5! The coordinates of the black hole are 25000/0/25000 (I have set at the 25000/0/25800) and practically within the wormhole...Start the vortex warp (as always happens normally) but ...Craassshhh. Every time. Black hole with the front wall?? I decided that the way is barred,nothing, nicht, nada ...sciÃ²!!:mad::mad: Sorry for the little outburst ...

Hi aquilotto, and welcome to a great sim/community;)

The BH to Andromeda works fine. You need to work on the technique to enter black holes.

I have u2u you a basic description of how to do it. (Might be considered as a spoiler).

The other thing to note is that not all black holes have wormholes in them, so you might want to make sure that there is an exit before you jump in. Black holes, after all, do not exist simply to provide convenient transport to suicidally reckless space pilots.

You should see a blue sphere inside the black hole when close and your navigator should give you heading and pitch. Ofcourse he won't if he knows your going to send him out the airlock before jumping through....LOL....
