What N routers (or others) would be a very good choice? I have a Belkin N router with ATT HSIPRO DSL. I am thinking of trying a different router before switching services. I am having increasing difficulties getting logged in fully to the wonderful Remula one server. I know the problem is with my equipment and or service as I can connect all the time at work and at home if I use my Blackberry as a modem.

Have you had your ISP check your line for quality and signal strength? Sometimes a low quality line can cause performance and connection problems.

Yes ATT and I spent a couple of hours last night with him in control of my machine checking things out to no avail. His suggestion was to uninstall the game and reisntall it:D. I do have an old router at home I plan on hooking up tonight as a trial. I think I went with the Belkin N router to see it it was better and it works fine for all other uses. From post: 101022, Topic: tid=7207, author=Vice wrote: Have you had your ISP check your line for quality and signal strength? Have you tried a updating or changing the firmware? Might not help as it's probably some sort of hardware failure but worth a try before you replace it completely.

Thanks MM, I used to have a linksys but had to replace it when I got a faster DSL. I will look into them and the others mentioned.

What I meant is my old Linksys did not support my higher speed so had to upgrade and someone said try Belkin N. Will look into Linksys again. Thanks E, I will read reviews on the diffrent routers. From post: 101070, Topic: tid=7207, author=MMaggio wrote:Well, my Linksys seems fast enough for the server!

I found out tonight that my router has a firewall on so I turned it off and will test connect-ability tomorrow again as tonight worked first try.
Yes, Yes, Yes it was the Routers firewall that was the problem. I have been able to connect to the server first try (so far;)) every time since I disabled the router firewall.
Thanks for all your input as I still have to replace my security systems router as it died when I was messing with it:(:D!
