Saitek X52Pro buttons

Post by DaveK »

The manual gives names like "Trigger" and "Fire" but EM's options setup uses button numbers.

Ignoring the mouse buttons (since I can't see how to use them on the stick/throttle without the real mouse using them as well) I can track down all the buttons except 15, 16, 17 & 18; four more buttons would be very useful for the things I've been advised to set up for pVp combat!

I use POV2 for straffing - set from EM's options - the missing buttons didn't appear when I sturned the POV allocation off in EM's options screen

Anyone know where 15-18 are?

:D :D :D

those are the mouse buttons and mouse wheel. (on throttle)
use the saitek profiler to disable the default mouse functions
and you will be able to use them as buttons
button 16 is mouse left click button, i use it for push to talk in teamspeak.

Thanks Capt_cronic! :)

If I use the profiler to disable the mouse functions will I still be able to set the other keys up from EM's options menus or does everything have to be done from the profiler?
