IDS Throttle

Does the IDS throttle determine how fast the IDS compensates for changes in thrust?

The Inertial Dampening System(IDS) controls your Inertial Compensation. The throttle controls your thrust and speed. So the more thrust and speed the more the IDS needs to compensate to keep you from drifting and spinning around your axis.....;):P:cool:

IDS Throttle

There is a forward and reverse IDS throttle though ( < and > ) - it seems to act as afterburn forwards or afterburn with engine thrust reversed. It isn't linked to the normal throttle so it's either full on or off :)

I suppose if you want to leave the area quickly still in IDS it lets you do so without having to hold the afterburn key down all the time!

"<" and ">" Keys are inertial reverse and forward thrust. "/" Key is reverse thrust. Now "/ + Tab" Keys is reverse afterburn thrust and "Tab" key is afterburn thrust. Wich I have all asigned to my X52 throtle control module!...;):P

I change the IDS throttle and notice no difference.
