Star Master Ugrades

I have been flying my Star Master for almost two weeks and made over 60 million credits and over 300 kills.
What is strange is that I have not been able to change my wing assembly (6) or increase my fuel tank capacity (2).
Can you upgrade a Star Master?

err... can you fit anything bigger than that? because each frame has limited amount of space for accessories. I'f you've maxed out engine/shield/etc you probably don't have enough space for better wings/fuel tank.

Yes.

It's a balance between all items in the config when you "construct" your ship in the shipyard.
You have a fixed number of assembly points for each frame.
Each component, wings, fuel tank etc has an assembly point for each level of the component.
If you want better wings, you might need to decrease the level of something else.
In the center of the screen you have your available assembly points that remains.
It can not be negative.
Once you're pleased with your ship, hit the "Trade and Build" button.
It's in the lower right of your screen.

You can find a lot of information regarding how the game works >here<. I would also strongly suggest that you watch the >Training Videos< which Vice made for new players like yourself. They will answer a lot of your questions and prove extremely helpful in learning the basics.

IIRC, in Legends you couldn't reconfigure your ship. But you can in Mercenary ... allocating more or less room for certain items like crew or cargo.

I fly a StarMaster and gave up all but one fuel tank so I could have better wings and keep eng@10 and Sheild@10. I figure I can get fuel everywhere.

ROFL.......Star King is a good Pilot but I would not call him the best.......Between Renegades, Legends and Mercenary
I have over 50 000 kills and I do not call my self the best!. In Mercenary alone I have at the Moment 10 000 kills and that has been achieved between all my posts on this forum....

Not necessarely, depends on how quick you got the 550 kills.
If you managed to get that many kills in an hour then you can brag about breaking a record because that is about 9 kills per minute!......it is all relative!.....
