How do you turn a yellow ship into a green (friend)?

Dear Evochronians,

When I played Legends there was a command or way to turn a yellow ship into a green (friend) ship.

That only works for clan pilots.

You target another clan player and press NumPad -

The only way is to fire on it (very carefully) until it turns red then use the number pad key to turn it green but that may only apply to non AI pilots as SeeJay mentioned above. I will test this theory and let you know.

In single play you can turn a yellow or red into green by paying it a bribe or accepting a bribe.......

green = friendly so to make a neutral friendly you shoot at it?

Yep, pretty much true in Mercenary!......You shoot at your Clan mate who is green at the start then he turns yellow first, you shoot at him some more and he turns red(not of anger though I hope) you stop shooting or you may destroy him if you continue firing, incase you stopped firing you press the "-" Key on the number pad and your clan mate turns back to green....
