My first post here, so hi everybody.
I’m new to this game but I have played some similar ones, like Elite or the X series.
I already got me some cash, a decent ship and some good equipment.
I have already been to Sol and found some other uncharted systems and stations.
The only thing I couldn’t accomplish yet is to find me a Mantis jump drive.
Therefore, I would really appreciate every hint and spoiler about where to get this Mantis drive.
TIA
Tom

Hello Tom_123, I could be wrong but I believe the IMG quest will lead you to what you want. You can also hop onto Multi-player and get help from other players if needed. Welcome to the forum and the Sim. Have fun and hope to see you in "Multi-Player" sometime.

Hi Tom, welcome to Evochron. Yes that's impressive going to Sol without a mantis lol! If you go into multiplayer I bet you someone will just give you one as a present! Otherwise the IMG quest will definitely lead you to where you can obtain said item.
Hope to see you out there so e time!

Thank you all for the warm welcome and the hints.
I’ll surely try MP some time but for now, I’ll stay in SP.
As for going to Sol, the credits belong to Seejay’s nice and informative site.
I found a ‘shortcut’ there, so it was just about typing in the coords, switch on the autopilot,
get some coffee, get some work done, return after an hour and voila.
So I guess I’ll finish the main quest now.
It’s anyhow a good way for improving the skills needed in EM.
Thanks you all again
