Update On Impulse

It prompted me for an update when I launched the game, but I got the game through Impulse which doesn't seem to have the update.

What does the update do, and will it be available for impulse users?

You may be able to update through the forum by reading the post on 1.408 Vice posted.

The existing update will likely be made official soon, but it needs some more testing since it's a significant re-write of the multiplayer system. At this time, for internet multiplayer compatibility, you will need to update manually to build 1.408.
