Hi update from NVIDIA Customer Care, and I have sent a bug report;)
Hi Michael,
Thank you for the update.
Since the game developer is saying that the customers with GTS 450 only are facing this issue I request you to file a bug for this issue with us so that the developers can directly look into this issue. Installing another driver would not fix the issue. I have mentioned a link to file a bug. I request you to kindly file a bug report by visiting the below mentioned link to help us analyze the issue.

The GTX 460 has this problem as well, and I am sure more of the 4xx series cards have it, if not all of them.

Thanks for reporting your issue. From your description, you could be looking at a bug but I wouldn't dismiss other possibilities. For now, we have submitted your issue to development for investigation. If we determine this to be a driver bug, we'll fix it asap and integrate it into our future driver updates.

Update from NVIDIA Customer Care
I will be implementing a possible work-around for this problem in the next test build, which I hope to have available for download this weekend. For anyone who is using a 4XX or 5XX series of Nvidia video card and have encountered this problem, please try the test build once it's available and let me know if it solves the problem. Thanks!

It's ready for download in the test build thread. So far, it's worked for a GTX 460 user.
