Non graphics dedicated server to Evochron?

win2003 but server not have directX compatible graphics card.

but it mean - i cant run dedi in my server because DirectX cant setup in win2003 64-bit server. i dont have rights to do this &(

i dont understand why dedi server needed 3d graphics to show "of the online clan territory control map, player positions, player list, controls/settings, and chat system."

may be you have 2d version?

No 2D version is available. The Direct3D dependencies are inherent in the development platform used and can't be removed, so (basic) 3D support is needed. DX can install on Win2003 server, sometimes the hardware acceleration slider needs to be moved to the right. You're welcome to join in on any of the current servers if you like, more players are certainly welcome and the current list of servers provides plenty of capacity.

Make sure your desktop is set to a 32-bit color setting. Verify the proper display drivers are installed for the G200 to enable 3D. Verify the hardware acceleration slider is all the way to the right. Then click on Start > Run > type in DXDIAG and press enter. Click on the Display tab, verify the 'Test' buttons are -not- grayed out. If they are grayed out, 3D is not yet enabled on that system.

Did some research on that card and it is apparently a late 1990's era card (around 1997), possibly only supporting up to DirectX 5. You will need something newer. It may work on a DirectX 7 era card (2000), but DirectX 9 would be preferred (just about any card from 2003 on up).

Vice this is 1U server machine if it say somethin to you. i can not change videocard in dedicated computer $(

i really hope Vice find the way create dedicated server to 1U computer or same type. because this server have great power processor and ram but dont have powerful video.
