Nvidia Driver Update (260.89 WHQL)...

Nvidia released official WHQL drivers today, version 260.89. I have completed an initial test and results are good, they are proving stable and provide good performance. I haven't completed testing them with other games yet, but for SW3DG games (particularly the graphics-intensive Evochron Mercenary), these drivers perform well.

Darn Vice, you must be telepathic - I was just going to post about that very subject. Just received an E-mail telling me that the latest Nvidia drivers were available, and was going to ask if there was any reason not to download them.

May not be related but after the driver update this forum (and my RV forums) do not always open to the size I want it. I have resized it, then maximized it, then right clicked and chose restore. Sometimes it works other times not.

Did a restore to before the new driver and all is well now. New driver must not like me.

Decided to give the update another chance and all seem fine this time. Not sure what happened first time. Does anyone have Video card settings for max quality for Mercenary? My computer has lots of power so I am going for maximum display settings.

For nVidia, when you highlight an option, you get a description of what the option does, down below (using the options program that's usually installed along with the new driver). I'd go by what's in the description.
