On the Road Again...

Post by Takle »

August 20th, i lost my job. I've been on unemployment which has run out. Could not find a Management position within my city. Therefore, i have to fall back on the only thing i got left..My Class A CDL... Yes ill be Over the Road Again...Wish me luck that it will be a short term thing, and ill try to check in as often as i can (depending on wifi setup at truck stops)

Just wanted ya all to know, so ya dont think i just disappeared. I like the community here, and would hate to be dispersed from the community due to inactivity...

Thanks..Takle..

Don't need to worry about Takle. Do your job as well as you can, rest of it comes naturally, just a matter of time...

Take care yourself!

I'm practically in the same boat as you, Tackle.
Next month, unfortunately, I'll have to close my business. Because I'm self employed, I cannot ask for unemployment support. A stupid and unjust law.
I'll be looking for a job. The problem is that I'm 45, and in my country am considered too old for getting a job. It's crazy. I'm trying to stay positive.
So, Takle, I really feel your pain. Best of luck m8.

Good luckies. The Tories are coming down hard on the British unemployed, reducing their dole money. They consider everyone who's unemployed to be a benefit scrounger. Obviously this simply isn't the case, such as your good selves who've simply been unlucky. It could happen to anyone in this day and age.
