Can\'t get trackir working in the EMercenary demo

I enabled 3D head tracking in settings, but the game just refuses to recognize the device, or something, because nothing happens in game.

Am I missing something?

It worked fine in every other game I tested.

You probably just need to update the game list. Evochron Mercenary is a new game, so it's not often listed in the TrackIR application. One of the other Evochrons is probably listed. Click on Game Updates > Update (version 5 of their program), then verify Evochron Mercenary is included in the game list, active 3D head tracking in the Options menu, then it should work fine.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I updated the game list after installation.

I have:
Evochron Alliance 2.0
Evochron Legends
Evochron Mercenary
Evochron Renegades

in the list.

Should work fine then, just make sure it's plugged in and running before you launch the game. Are you trying to use it in an external view or in the cockpit? Any non-default settings in the Options menu? What version of the TrackIR software are you using?

I have an old trackIR 4 software 4.0.1.035, went from playing falcon 4.0 to this game so I know that it was connected and working at the time.

I were trying to use it from within the cockpit, also the only setting changes I made were to set up my joystick.

Not sure what it could be then. So far, no other reported problems and quite a number of players use the version 4 software. Guess you could try the version 5 software temporarily to see if it makes any difference.

Change the software version for 5. Works better than 4. I too have TrackIR 4.
And, maybe, will solve your game problem.
By the way how you're keys configured for TrackIR? There is one that freezes it.
Do you have both TrackIR lights on? Is it bue?
