Is your space not realistic enough? Do you want to depress scifi authors at conventions and in forums, but don't have that necessary degree in astrophysics and rocket science?

Don't fret! The internet has all that knowledge you need to (mentally) design a "realistic" SF-setting compiled into one handy website:
Atomic Rocket

(Okay, now in all seriousness: AR is a pretty nifty resource about the physics involved in space travel. I agree that realism tends to be horribly unfun at times, but it's a rather interesting read and can be quite inspiring at times. AR covers everything, from basic propulsion to space food to clothing to life support for extended journeys.)

Of course, nothing mentioned on that website should ever make it into Evochron. It would only get in the way of fun.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.
If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

 Once upon a time, some guy tried to create an MP engine for Orbiter ... but it never really worked.
