opening ports on a belkin

I have a Belkin f5d8233-4V3 n router and can't figure out if port 3889 is open. Anyone know how to check this? I will say up front I am a novice at this sort of thing.

Well I figured out how to open the ports (I hope) now to see if I messed anything up (lol).

I hate belkin hardware they are difficult to trouble shoot if there is a problem with them...I swore a lot at them, but that did not help so I swore never to use them again........LOL.......

its been a while since ive been in a belkin router but I know a site that may help

Just replace the port numbers it tells you to use with the ones you require.
