Valve have developed Alien Swarm and giving away free to download via Steam. Its pretty good and like Alien Breed if you can remember that years ago and has 4 player co-op.

No, none that I can see. It's quite good for a quick blast on but not something I would spend loads of time on. Some have said it could be paid for DLC in the future but Valve had always been against that.
