Error 50

Hi, I'm getting a crash with runtime error 50 when trying to boot EL. Does anyone know how to fix it? I've tried reinstalling, cleaning my registry, and all of it. I noticed that it started doing it after I created a new login name on my computer.

Do you have seperate log in names to log onto your computer? I believe the game only runs under a login name with administrative rights....Hope this helps...

Error 50 generally means the display is not compatible with the screen mode you previously selected. First, check to make sure your desktop is set to 32-bit, not 16-bit. Then if that checks out, delete the sw.cfg file in the game's save data folder (usually c:\\sw3dg\\EvochronLegends), then relaunch the game.

I've been getting runtime errors also. Usally error 10, and a couple of times it was 93 I'm pretty sure. It only happens when the game is trying to load something.

Probably more info would help. I'm running it on Windows 7 32 bit. I've been having more errors lately than usual, but I don't think I've changed anything.

In short, the game is not able to load media, likely due to something else running in the background that is blocking resources the game needs to load media.

Yup, that did it. A program I thought I had closed earlier was still going in the background, but now no problems. Thanks.

Error 50 was solved. I pretty much deleted all the save files and everything in the process, but I did it.
