Runtime Error: Error 10

Hello all! I just downloaded the demo for Evochron Legends. I played it for a while last night just fine, but sometimes I'd get a "Runtime Error: Error 10" when I tried to load the game. Now tonight, It's doing it every time and I can't play at all. I've uninstalled the game, deleted the install directory, and installed again and I still have no luck. This game is great and I hope to purchase it soon when payday comes around again, but I hope to not have this trouble if I shell out my hard earned cash.

Anyone have any ideas, or is there an error log I can look to to see what might be causing this? Thanks in advance!

Thanks guys. I did some searches but I never found that post.

I was running a script that I thought disabled my Anti-VIrus, anti-malware, and other programs, but it turns out it was not getting them all. I run Microsoft Security Essentials, and I noticed a Service running called "Microsoft Antimalware Service". Once I disabled that service it seems to work much better. I was able to turn the graphics all the way back up and run with no issues.

Thanks for your help guys! I can't wait until payday so I can really dive into this game!

If you are using MSE and you do not want to disable the real-time protection, you can go to settings<Exclude Processes and add the EvochronLegends.exe to the list.
Works well for me.
