3D Head and Facial Expression Tracking

Look at this. Wow. I didn't think this sort of technology would be so easily accessible, or available at all right now. This technology allows a regular webcam to track your head and facial expressions. Its incredibly accurate, and can easily follow rapid movements. This isn't a question of whether this technology will come, it's here already. It's been developed, and perfected. You can download the program right now and tinker around with it. The potential is amazing! Not only can it be used like a TrackIR in flight sims, but it has great applications in first person shooters, can be used to create a 3D desktop, and can be used to control an avatar that copies your facial expressions. Now all we have to do is wait for someone to integrate this into a game.

EDIT: Just tried out the Half Life 2 facetracking mod, and it's awesome! Vice, pleeeeaaaase try to integrate this into EL! It would be a great alternative for those of us that are too poor to buy TrackIR. Facetracking software has been around for a long time, but this is the first time it's been properly integrated into an FPS.
