New user need some help with throttle controls

I have successfully set all controls on my old Thrustmaster joy stick; however the power up/down (Throttle) controller will not work in game. It registers in the con fig menu and I assign it to throttle; however when I play the game and push the bar forward, nothing happens?????

Did you select "joystick" in the options column?

Yes I did, it started working a few minutes ago (bizarre). Now I seem to have a strange new issue, every time I go into a menu (config, space port, trade ect) the mouse freezes up and starts clicking like crazy at odd points and the rest of the game runs fine. It might be because I have not yet unlocked the full game (waiting on the email with the key).

Hi Serph, welcome to the game and forum. Looks like there is multiple keys asigned to same functions. Make sure that there is no Key assignment conflicts...
