Epic Music Pack anyone?

Hello fellow mercenaries! Man, gotta say that I was introduced to Evochron Legends recently and finally broke down and bought it yesterday. I was completely and utterly enamored with the world of Evochron and the gameplay after the first hour or so... GREAT STUFF.

That said, being that I compose music professionally I thought it would be cool to do some original music "inspired by" Evochron to listen to as I play... then I got another idea. Would anyone be interested in an Epic Music Pack to listen to as you're zipping around the universe? Don't get me wrong, the purely electronic music that is in the game isn't bad... I just feel like the game could benefit from something a bit more epic.

I've already composed the first two pieces of music for this little project today as a matter of fact. An action cue, and more of an ambient cue. Feel free to download them here:

I sent an email to Vice yesterday wanting to possibly get something official rolling but haven't heard back from him as of yet. So Vice, if you see this... shoot me an email via my web page listed below if you're interested in pursuing something like this officially! I'd be willing to do this for a nominal fee or even for free for the fans.

Hope to see some of you out in the voids of space! More to come if interest is shown and when time permits.

Those sound excellent! I am a huge fan of soundtrack music (especially all things John Williams) and so have an appreciation for this kind of thing. If you created an "Epic Music Pack," I would use it!

Nice music mate. I'm sure that there's plenty will enjoy it with the game. Unfortunately, I'm one of those Philistines that switch the music off when I'm playing a game. Still, I enjoyed listening to it - thanks.

Well, I'm not from Philly but I usually turn the music off too ... nonetheless, I've yet to make a really long journey into deep space. Music, during a long haul at 4k (on intertial ... to keep from running out of gas) sounds like a good idea.

Thanks! Glad to hear there are some fellow soundtrack fans amongst us. Honestly, there are some really great (albeit more obscure) film scores outside the likes of John Williams I'd suggest you guys track down if you'd like some cinematic ambiance to help get your adrenaline pumping or get you through a long haul between systems.

Very nice beckett and well done the music fits very well with the game. Personally I do not listen to music when playing nor do I bother with the modifying and changing the sounds of games but a lot of other players do, and welcome to the game and forum. There are a lot of musicians playing this game. Music is one of my hobbies which I lately not have had much time to spend on.
